Ariel 17" Limited Edition Doll

Ariel was sold as a pre order and sold out in 1 day and was released on October 1, 2013 along with Prince Eric and Ursula, these LE dolls were released by the Disney Store for the release of the Diamond Edition of The Little Mermaid DVD.

Here is Ariel as she looks in her box with the plastic cover.

This is Ariel without the plastic cover.

Her top is made of plastic and the little charms hanging from it are made of plastic too but they actually feel like real shells, so do the ones on her tail. When i first saw her online i was wondering why they didn't make her with her purple shells top, but now i think this actually works well.

On her right arm she wears a gold bracelet made up of shells and fish.

As you see here she comes with a stand and her tail is covered with single sown fins.

In this picture you can see how her tail looks underneath the fins, you might be wondering as i was, Does she have legs in that tail? and yes she does, as you can kind of see here, I was a little worried about this and no one not even the Disney Store was mentioning this, but i'm so happy she has legs.

Her face is such a beauty, I love every detail that goes into making these dolls. The only problem i have with this doll and some other dolls i own are small flaws like specs of paint on the face where there shouldn't be any, I know these are very little flaws but it bothers me a little since i do like looking at my dolls very often and when i do i can't help but notice, I just wish the artists would pay more attention to this and i'm sure i'm not the only one who feels this way.

Ariel is a limited edition of 6000 worldwide. These dolls were split between the American Disney Stores, Disney Stores website, and other Disney stores worldwide.

This is what it says on the back of the box and it is in 7 other different languages right under it.

Her original price at the Disney store was $99.95, but she is now selling for double that amount on the worldwide market.

She is a limited edition of 6000 worldwide, I have number 1943, which is the same year my mom was born, so this makes her even more special to me.

Prince Eric 18" Limited Edition Doll

Prince Eric was released on October 1, 2013 along with Ursula and Ariel which was a pre order and sold out in 1 day, these LE dolls were released by the Disney Store for the release of the Diamond Edition of The Little Mermaid DVD.

Prince Eric is the first LE male to be released by the Disney store and I'm so proud to own him, he gives me hope that one day the Disney Store will release Flynn Ryder as an LE.

Here is Eric as he looks in his box with the plastic cover.

Prince Eric is a limited edition of 1500 worldwide. These dolls were split between the American Disney Stores, Disney Stores website, and other Disney stores worldwide.

This is Prince Eric without the plastic cover.

I love the way these dolls are displayed, as I don't have to take them out and rearrange them, as doing this will cause them to lose value should I choose to sell them one day, but maybe not since my 4 year old is already asking me to pass it on to her when she gets older.

His boots are slit in the back just as are the classic Disney prince dolls with boots are.

He comes with his own stand.

I love the way his outfit is so detailed, this is what you would expect for at doll at this price.

This is what it says on the back of the box and it is in 7 other different  languages right under it.

His original price at the Disney store was $99.95, but he is now selling for double that amount on the worldwide market.

He is a limited edition of 1500 worldwide, I have number 0890.
